White Diamond Ski Tours is a Christian based company, that is a branch of Wilderness Expeditions, Inc., headquartered in Salida, Colorado. White Diamond Ski Tours has dedicated itself to unique full package ski trips with a spiritual purpose, all at an affordable price! Its excellent performance has earned a positive image and a continued opportunity to offer quality skiing and snowboarding experiences.

White Diamond Ski Tours' programs are designed to encourage spiritual growth while enjoying the fun and challenge of snow sports in Colorado. The services provided set White Diamond Ski Tours apart from other ski trip experiences. WDST make all the arrangements for lodging, meals, lift tickets, equipment rentals, transport of gear, and loading and unloading of all equipment. A hearty breakfast and supper are provided each day. What's Included

The fee covers all expenses for your participation (unless otherwise indicated), which includes 2 or 3 days of skiing, lift tickets, equipment rentals, 3 or 4 nights lodging, morning and evening meals, use of the lodge, and program costs. Some extras may be included (ex. day pass to the Salida Hot Springs pool etc.). Participants may have additional expenses, particularly for travel and lodging to and from the base camp.

All participants will receive their lift tickets from the White Diamond staff. All rental equipment will be picked up on the way to Monarch Mountain the morning of the first day of skiing. All equipment will be returned to the rental shop at the conclusion of the final day. Hot meals will be served for breakfast and supper. No cold sandwich type meals. Lunch meals are each participant’s responsibility, so plan to carry your own food or eat at the snack bar or restaurant. Meal times will be scheduled by your group hosts and communicated to the coordinator upon arrival in Colorado. A devotional time for spiritual growth and encouragement is offered to the group each evening. The game room/devotional/fellowship area is available before and after the devotional.

White Diamond Ski Tours can accommodate up to 102 people. Each room is set up to accommodate 7 to 13 people. The rooms are furnished primarily with bunk beds, although there are some full size beds. Beds come with pillow, sheets, and a blanket. All rooms have a full bathroom facility with towels included. We also have a variety of VRBO housing. A house that sleeps 8, a cabin that sleeps 6, and an apartment that sleeps 4. If you have more than 120 participants, we can make arrangements for additional lodging.

*Note to families*: The Lodge is a group facility and is set up to accommodate groups. We reserve the right to fill each room to capacity with males and females from your group. We do not guarantee families will have separate accommodations at our lodge. If a family requests a separate room, we may have to place them at another motel if available. We reserve the right to place them at our facility first. That charge is $50.00 per person per night in addition to the total 3-Day package price. This charge is to supply separate accommodations, whether at Wilderness Expeditions Lodge or elsewhere. This extra charge per person must be sent in along with the deposits (90 days prior to your trip) for availability and booking purposes.

WDST strongly encourages all first time skiers/snowboarders to take lessons. All first time skiers and snowboarders are advised to take the 4 hour lesson for beginners for safety purposes.

You Bring

Warm clothes: toboggan, ski goggles/sunglasses, ski pants (not jeans), jacket, warm layers, long underwear, wool socks, gloves, sunscreen and chapstick.

Transportation

You will need to provide your own transportation for people to and from the ski resort. A four-wheel drive or two wheel drive with chains is recommended.

Physical Fitness and Conditioning

Anyone who wants to take full advantage of the experience should be “in shape”. Be sure to let your staff know which medications you are taking.
