Welcome to Wilderness Expeditions Lodge and Campground. Our desire is to make your experience the best possible and provide a safe and unique environment. The following guidelines are provided to ensure a pleasant stay for you and our other guests. We are dedicated to providing a wholesome, quality environment. Please note that on our property and in all facilities there will be No Smoking and No Alcoholic Beverages outside at any time.
Please be sure to check in with the campground host upon arrival.
The speed limit is 5 mph. Guests may be walking or children playing so please drive slowly and carefully at all times.
Please keep sites litter free. Campers are responsible for disposing of all garbage and waste liquids in the provided waste receptacles. Containers are provided for recycling glass, plastic, and aluminum. One picnic table and one fire pan is provided for each site. Do not build fires outside of the provided pans. Help preserve the grass by placing tents on sanded areas and using the walking trails. Do not use nails, spikes, or screws in live trees. No hanging clothes lines or laundry and no carpets on the grass areas. Sites contain water hookups and may have electricity hookups as well. Sewer and gray water tanks are emptied twice a week by our staff using a portable honey wagon. Gray water must not be emptied onto ground.
Park only in the designated areas of your site – if you have extra vehicles, trailers etc. please check with the host. No more than 2 vehicles per site for long term guests. (Jack blocks are required under all stabilizers.) All tent campers should use the parking lot provided on the west end of the campground. All vehicles must display a pass obtained by the campground host.
Quiet hours 10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Radio, television volume and other disturbing noises and activities must be controlled. No loud noise, nuisance or drunkenness will be tolerated. Public drunkenness or use of drugs will result in immediate eviction.
All fires must be in the fire pans provided for each site. Fire pans are not to be moved. No cutting of trees or scavenging of firewood is allowed. You must provide your own fire wood.
All vehicles must remain on roads or parking areas. No washing or repairing of RVs or vehicles.
The restrooms and showers are located in the bathhouse on the west end of the upper property. Please help us maintain a clean and sanitary facility. The bathhouse is for registered guests and requires an access code which is available from the host. The Pavilion is available to all guests when not in use by W.E. staff.
The lodge and campground fees include free fishing in the stocked trout ponds. All fishing is catch-n-release with barbless hooks only. Please take care when returning fish to pond. No swimming or wading in the ponds at any times.
We welcome children of all ages. Children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times and be accompanied by an adult when using the amenities.
Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be leashed and attended at all times. No outside pens. Clean up after pets in all areas. Please be kind to ducks, geese, and other wildlife on the property.
Check-out time is 11 a.m. for the lodge and campground. Late check-outs will be charged.
No Fireworks Allowed:
We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses while on this property. We reserve the right to deny service to any guest or terminate their stay for lack of adherence to guidelines.
