Colorado. White Diamond Ski Tours has dedicated itself to unique full

White Diamond Ski Tours programs are designed to encourage spiritual
growth while enjoying the fun and challenge of snow sports in Colorado.
The services provided set White Diamond Ski Tours apart from other ski

each day. Also included is a great group meeting area for devotionals
and entertainment. All of this is set against the backdrop of Monarch

is one of the best group friendly ski areas in Colorado. Powder
Magazine says, “If you’ve never skied at Monarch Mountain, you are
missing one of the most underrated resorts in the Rockies.”

White Diamond Ski Tours can accommodate up to 100 people. Each room is
set up to accommodate 7 to 13 people. The rooms are furnished primarily
with bunk beds, although there are some full size beds. Beds come with
pillow, sheets, and a blanket. All rooms have a full bathroom facility
with towels included. If you have more than 100 participants, we can
make arrangements for additional lodging.
Note to families: The Lodge
is a group facility and is set up to accommodate groups. We reserve the
right to fill each room to capacity with males and females from your
group. We do not guarantee families will have separate accommodations
at our lodge. If a family requests a separate room, we may have to
place them at another motel. We reserve the right to place them at our
facility first. That charge is $50.00 per person in addition to the
total 3-Day package price. This charge is to supply separate
accommodations, whether at Wilderness Expeditions Lodge or
elsewhere. This extra $50.00 per person must be sent
in along with the deposits (90 days prior to your trip) for
availability and booking purposes.
WDST requires all first time skiers/snowboarders to take lessons. All
first time skiers and snowboarders are advised to take the 4 hour
lesson for beginners for safety purposes. All level 2 or 3 can take the
2.5 hour refresher courses if desired.
You will need to provide your own transportation for people to and from
the ski resort. A four-wheel drive or two wheel drive with chains is
toboggan, ski goggles/sunglass, ski pants (not jeans), jacket, warm
layers, long underwear, wool socks, gloves, sunscreen and chapstick.
Fitness and Conditioning:
Anyone who wants to take full advantage of the experience should be “in
shape”. If you have any questions regarding the physical requirements
for a particular activity, we strongly encourage you to inquire. WDST
recommends a conditioning program for the more strenuous activities it
offers. WDST suggests getting a medical check-up before starting any
physical conditioning program.
and Emergency Medical Situations:
Wilderness Expeditions and White Diamond Ski
Tours does not carry medical insurance for its participants. Each
participant is individually and financially responsible for medical
costs. You must complete all medical information on the Registration
Form, as this information is critical in the event you would need
medical attention. In the event you must return to base camp because of
injury or illness, another member of your group will be required to
accompany and care for that individual until your group returns from
their program/activity. Note: The staff will not administer any type of
medication, including aspirin, Tums, Tylenol, etc. If you need any
over-the-counter medications, you must bring them with you. Be sure to
let your staff know which medications you are taking.
In the event of an emergency at home, friends or family will be able to
leave a message at the following phone number. We will make every
effort to pass the message on as soon as possible. Emergency contact
number: 1-719-539-4888 or 719-651-0906 or 719-651-7067.
Groups arrive the night before your skiing begins. White Diamond Ski
Tours will be prepared to receive you no earlier than 3:00 p.m. All
arrivals will be at Wilderness Expeditions Lodge & Campground.
See the Contact Us section of the website for directions. The Lodge is
about 20 minutes from Monarch Mountain. Bring snow chains for your
