Day 1: Arrive at Wilderness Expeditions by 1 PM. Orientation and packing. Overnight at WE base camp.

Day 5: Morning solo time and then pack up and return to Wilderness Expeditions. Return all gear and clean up.

6 Day Trek & Raft* **

Day 5:Morning solo time and then pack up and head to the river.
Day 6: After a 1/2 day rafting trip, return to Wilderness Expeditions. Return all gear and clean up. Banquet meal.

6 Day Trek & Train*

Day 1: Arrive at Wilderness Expeditions by 1 PM. Orientation and packing. Overnight at WE base camp.

Day 3: Hike to High Camp
Day 4: Morning solo time and free day.
Day 5: Summit Attempt
Day 6: Pack up and catch the Leadville Colorado Southern Railroad train for a morning ride back to Leadville and your vehicles. Return to Wilderness Expeditions. Return all gear and clean up. Banquet meal.

$395.00 per person (Includes all meals, camping gear, day pass to Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center)

WE offers an "Enhanced Gear Package" for an additional charge of $30/participant. This package including internal frame packs, and new updated gear. Supplies are limited so please contact us if you are interested.

 

WE offers an "Enhanced Food Package" to the basic food plan, it will be available for an additional charge of $10 per participant. Contact us with questions regarding the details of this package.

Note: The entire group must choose the enhanced package.

5 Day Trek with Backcountry Fishing*

Day 1: Arrive at Wilderness Expeditions by 1 PM. Orientation and packing. Overnight at WE base camp.
Day 2: Drive to the trailhead. Hike to Camp. Fishing.

Day 4: Fishing
Day 5: Morning fishing and then pack up and return to Wilderness Expeditions. Return all gear and clean up. Banquet meal.

Full Day Summit Attempt

Depart very early in the morning and drive to the trailhead for an attempt at a summit of 13,000 to 14,000 ft. Many conditions may prohibit achieving the summit, but our staff will make every effort to safely get you to the top.

Summit Attempt with Overnight

Day 1: Arrive at Wilderness Expeditions early for a brief orientation and packing. Drive to trailhead and hike to a camp just below tree line.
Day 2: Early morning summit attempt of a 13,000 to 14,000 ft. peak. Many conditions
may prohibit achieving the summit, but our staff will make every effort to safely get you to the top. Pack up and return to Wilderness Expeditions.

1/2 Day Rappelling

Whitewater Rafting:

*All rafting trips are conducted by a licensed and permitted outfitter through the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area.

1/2 Day Rafting Brown’s Canyon

This 12 mile trip begins at Fisherman's Bridge and takes you all of the way through beautiful Brown's Canyon where we navigate 11 class III and IV rapids. Zoom Flume, Bigdrop, Widow maker,and yes Seidel's Suckhole and Twin falls are just a few of the rapids you'll experience on this exciting and scenic trip. Because we end this trip on private property we can offer you rapids you won't get with most other companies.
