Wilderness Expeditions offers backpacking trips, rappelling, and climbing catering to groups including families, teens, college age, corporate, schools, churches, and special needs.

For all multi-day programs and some other activities, when indicated, the outfitter will provide a variety of equipment and supplies to the participant. Such items often include: backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tents, stoves, fuel, cooking equipment, dining/rain fly, all rappelling equipment, first aid kit, and food (from supper on the first night to the banquet meal on the final night for all multi-day trips). Some packages may include single or multiple nights stay in the Wilderness Expeditions Lodge or another of the local establishments.

Conveniently located off Highway 50 in Salida, Colorado along the Little Arkansas River. The RV park and campground with 35 sites has covered pavilions, picnic areas, fishing ponds, tent camping, bath house, and meeting areas.
